After discussions, both parties agreed on the following collaboration plan:
Selection of Collaborative Fields:
- Logistics and Supply Chain Management.
- Information Technology (IT).
Curriculum Comparison and Recognition: Both parties compared the educational curricula of TVU and CityU to identify courses for credit recognition and report to the Ministry of Education and Training (MOET). This process ensures that TVU’s curricula are compatible with CityU’s programs, facilitating credit transfer without difficulty.
Development of Curriculum Frameworks: Based on the agreed curriculum framework, both parties will sign a contract to ensure that transferring students receive equivalent credits. This not only saves study time but also reduces costs for students transferring from TVU to CityU.
Selection of Trial Training Programs: A trial training program in Logistics, a strength of both institutions, will be selected and tailored to meet students’ needs. This helps evaluate the effectiveness of the collaborative curriculum framework, paving the way for further cooperation in other fields.
Student Support: CityU will assist with application procedures, student care, and ensure English requirements for students. Specifically, CityU will provide additional English courses and necessary skills to help TVU students quickly adapt and meet admission requirements.
Joint Research Development: In addition to educational cooperation, both universities discussed developing joint research projects, particularly in areas of mutual strength such as IT, Communication, and Languages. This collaboration enhances research quality and provides opportunities for students and faculty from both institutions to learn and develop.
Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Duy Ninh expressed his joy at this collaboration, emphasizing: “Collaborating with City University of Seattle opens up great opportunities for our students and affirms the international development and integration of Trung Vuong University.”

In response, Mr. Denny Dang, Director of the CityU Program, also expressed: “We are honored to collaborate with Trung Vuong University. This collaboration extends beyond education into research and other development projects. We believe this will be the beginning of a long-lasting and sustainable partnership.”
The meeting concluded with excitement and expectations for successful and sustainable cooperation between the two universities, bringing tangible benefits to students and faculty.
