On February 20, 2023, Trung Vuong University held a meeting with Saigon A.I. Co. Ltd. Representing Trung Vuong University were Mr. Nguyen Duy Ninh, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors; Assoc. Prof. Phan Trong Phuc, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors; Dr. Nguyen Huy Oanh, the President; Dr. Nguyen Viet Anh, the Vice President, and leaders from other departments. Saigon A.I. was represented by Mr. Andrew Schwabe, the Founder and CEO of the company.
The purpose of the cooperation exchange was to develop collaboration in training programs related to Business Administration and Artificial Intelligence (AI). This new program combines knowledge of Business Administration (BA) and AI to provide significant opportunities for Trung Vuong University students to build a knowledge base compatible with future job opportunities.
Saigon A.I. is a technology company specializing in artificial intelligence with over 20 years of establishment and development in Vietnam. It is a trusted partner of corporations, enterprises, and prestigious universities in Vietnam such as FPT University, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology, and Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics. Saigon A.I. plays a crucial role in bridging cooperation in AI development between Vietnam and the world, a field still burgeoning in the Vietnamese market.
Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Andrew Schwabe, the Founder and CEO of Saigon A.I., thanked the university leadership for providing the opportunity for both parties to exchange information about current realities and potential development cooperation. He noted that Trung Vuong University is fully capable of meeting the stringent requirements for collaboration with renowned universities in the United States to develop high-quality human resources, especially those capable of learning and applying AI knowledge in economic and financial management. Mr. Schwabe also emphasized that Vietnam is a promising market for expanding and developing human resources in the AI industry. However, Vietnam lacks proper strategies to access the vast knowledge and significant values that the AI industry can bring. He acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts of major universities nationwide in seeking connections to deliver joint training programs with universities in the United States, resulting in more positive outcomes. Mr. Schwabe shared that the field of artificial intelligence encompasses various domains, and successfully integrating an economics training program with the practical application of AI could create significant opportunities for Trung Vuong University students to collaborate with international corporations.
On behalf of the university, Dr. Nguyen Huy Oanh, the President, expressed gratitude to the company’s representatives and highlighted their capabilities and potential for long-term cooperation. Trung Vuong University always prioritizes international cooperation programs to enhance the quality of education, thereby providing significant opportunities for its students to build a knowledge base compatible with future job opportunities. Trung Vuong University also hopes that through this meeting, both parties can continue to meet and exchange ideas to commit to long-term cooperation.
