Vietnam Women’s Day is an annual celebration held on October 20th to honor Vietnamese women, marked by appreciation shown through gifts, flowers, and good wishes.
On October 20, 2023, the Board of Directors and the Executive Committee of the Trade Union at Trung Vuong University organized a celebration to mark the 93rd anniversary of the Vietnam Women’s Union (October 20, 1930 – October 20, 2023). The event, held in the 12A Hall at the Hanoi campus, extended best wishes to the university’s female staff, lecturers, and students.
The atmosphere was joyful and enthusiastic, with numerous female faculty and lecturers from Trung Vuong University participating.
Attendees included:
- Mr. Nguyen Duy Ninh – Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors – Head of the Supervisory Board
- Assoc. Prof. Phan Trong Phuc – Permanent Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors
- Dr. Nguyen Huy Oanh – Member of the Board of Directors – President
- Dr. Tang Van Tien – Vice President
- Mr. Trinh Minh Truong – Chairman of the Trade Union of Trung Vuong University
- Other faculty members and lecturers of the University
In her speech, Mrs. Nguyen Vu Nhat Anh, a Member of the Trade Union Executive Committee, reflected on the significance of October 20th on behalf of the female faculty members.
Following her address, the President and the Trade Union Chairman presented flowers to congratulate the female staff, lecturers, and workers of Trung Vuong University.
As part of the activities commemorating the 93rd anniversary of the Vietnam Women’s Union, the Trade Union organized musical performances celebrating mothers, wives, and the iconic Vietnamese women.
This event provided an opportunity for the staff and lecturers to bond more closely. It also contributed to boosting the working spirit, creating excitement, and strengthening the solidarity among the female lecturers and employees of the University.
