On the morning of June 22, the plane carrying South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol, First Lady Kim Keon Hee, and the South Korean delegation landed at Noi Bai Airport (Hanoi), marking the beginning of their state visit to Vietnam from June 22-24.

Upon arriving in Hanoi, President Yoon Suk Yeol attended a culinary and cultural exchange event and the Vietnam – Korea Cultural Exchange Night at the National Convention Center in Hanoi on the afternoon of June 22. This was one of the side events during the South Korean President’s state visit to Vietnam at the invitation of President Vo Van Thuong.

The event, organized by the South Korean Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism in collaboration with the Korea Creative Content Agency (KOCCA), focused on cultural and artistic exchanges between Vietnamese and South Korean artists such as AB6IX, Kihyun (Monsta X), Mono, and Min, along with the promotion of Vietnamese and South Korean cuisine to foster trade connections and introduce high-quality South Korean products to Vietnamese youth.

Trung Vuong University students were honored to be part of the welcoming delegation for South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol at the National Convention Center.

During this event, the students had the opportunity to meet and greet the South Korean President. One of the highlights of the exchange was the students enjoying “banh mi kimchi” prepared by Chef Pham Tuan Hai (Chef Hai – one of Vietnam’s top 10 most famous chefs). This dish combined traditional Korean flavors with Vietnamese culinary styles to create an appealing fusion.
