Practical Learning Session at Hyundai Ha Dong Showroom for TVU Automotive Engineering Technology Students

On June 11, 2024, students from Trung Vuong University’s Faculty of Automotive Engineering Technology visited the Hyundai Ha Dong Showroom for an educational field trip. This initiative forms an integral part of the department’s training curriculum, aimed at providing students with deeper insights into the modern automotive industry.

Showroom Visit 

During their visit, students had the opportunity to explore Hyundai’s latest car models on display at the showroom. Mr. Nguyen The Tinh, Sales Manager and training lecturer at Hyundai Ha Dong, warmly welcomed the students and conducted a comprehensive introduction to the vehicles’ features and cutting-edge technologies. This experience enriched students’ understanding of the continuous advancements within the automotive sector.

Tour of the Service Workshop Areas 

Following the showroom tour, Mr. Nguyen Duc Vuong, Service Director, guided the students through various functional areas within the service workshop, including:

  • Quick Service Area: Dedicated to swift maintenance services.
  • General Repair Area: Addressing common technical faults of vehicles.
  • Body and Paint Area: Specialized in car body painting and repairs.
  • Vehicle Storage Area: Used for storing both new and awaiting repair vehicles.
  • Car Wash and Accessory Installation Area: Focused on vehicle cleaning and accessory installations.

Each area was staffed with experts who provided detailed explanations of the operational processes, highlighting the modern technologies and equipment employed at each stage.

Introduction to Hyundai Ha Dong’s Overall Operations 

In the showroom’s conference room, students viewed a comprehensive video presentation outlining Hyundai Ha Dong’s operational scale, workflows, and service standards. This multimedia presentation offered students a holistic view of the dealership’s commitment to service quality and customer satisfaction.

Q&A Session 

At the conclusion of the visit, students engaged in a productive Q&A session with Hyundai experts. They posed insightful questions covering topics such as maintenance procedures, repair techniques, emerging automotive technologies, and future industry trends. This interactive session not only expanded students’ knowledge but also fostered active learning and critical inquiry.
