Trung Vuong University Solemnly Hosts a Traditional Gathering to Commemorate the Founding Day of the Vietnam People’s Army and the All-People’s National Defense Day

In the historic days of December, as the whole country turns its attention to the anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People’s Army, Trung Vuong University solemnly organized a traditional gathering to commemorate the 81st anniversary of the Founding of the Vietnam People’s Army (22 December 1944 – 22 December 2025) and the 36th anniversary of the All-People’s National Defense Day (22 December 1989 – 22 December 2025).
The gathering took place in a dignified, warm, and deeply emotional atmosphere—where memories of war, national pride, and the aspiration to contribute continued to be passed down through generations.

The event provided an opportunity for the university’s staff, lecturers, and employees to express their profound gratitude for the great contributions and sacrifices of generations of officers and soldiers of the Vietnam People’s Army, while also revisiting the nation’s glorious and heroic traditions in the cause of building and defending the country.

At the program, Dr. Nguyen Huy Oanh, Rector of Trung Vuong University, together with Mr. Nguyen Duy Ninh, Vice Chairman of the University Council, on behalf of the university’s faculty and staff, extended respectful congratulations and sincere appreciation to the veteran soldiers currently working at the university and to the attending delegates. The university leadership affirmed that the tradition of the “Uncle Ho’s Soldiers” remains a shining example of courage, willpower, and dedication, serving as a powerful source of inspiration for generations of TV-UNI staff, lecturers, and students in their study, teaching, and professional work.

Sharing at the gathering, representing the veterans, Mr. Trinh Minh Truong, M.A., Vice Rector of the University, delivered heartfelt and vivid stories about a period of resilient, arduous, yet heroic struggle of our army and people. These sincere and lively memories left a strong impression, contributing to the education of patriotism and national pride for today’s generation.

Also at the program, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Bang, Executive Director of the Agricultural Sector of Ho Guom Group, attended and shared memorable recollections, revisiting his youthful years closely associated with revolutionary ideals and the spirit of devotion to the Fatherland.
