On December 18, 2024, Trung Vuong University’s Faculty of Korean Language and Culture hosted a signing ceremony for a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Kunsan National University, South Korea. This milestone marks a key advancement in Trung Vuong University’s international collaboration strategy, creating enhanced academic and professional opportunities for faculty and students from both institutions.
Representing Trung Vuong University were Dr. Nguyen Huy Oanh, President; Dr. Pham Nhu Nghe, Vice President; Mr. Trinh Minh Truong, Vice President; and Dr. Pham Hong Phuong, Head of the Faculty of Korean Language and Culture. Kunsan National University was represented by Mr. Jeong Jung Jae, Director of International Cooperation.
The agreement highlights several collaborative initiatives, including cultural and academic exchange programs aimed at fostering mutual understanding and cooperation. Kunsan National University will recognize Korean language certificates issued to Trung Vuong students based on completed proficiency levels. Additionally, Trung Vuong students will receive support in securing part-time jobs in South Korea, offering them valuable practical experience alongside their studies.
The partnership also emphasizes joint efforts in media and promotional activities to strengthen educational and cultural ties. Moreover, Kunsan National University committed to providing generous scholarships to Trung Vuong students, further enhancing opportunities for academic growth.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Jeong Jung Jae emphasized the strong connection between the two universities and their shared vision of delivering high-quality education to meet the demands of global integration.
This MOU not only unlocks new pathways for student learning, internships, and career development but also elevates Trung Vuong University’s reputation on the international academic stage. The signing ceremony represents a significant leap in bilateral cooperation, setting the foundation for fruitful developments in the years ahead.
