In the vibrant atmosphere of Youth Month and in celebration of the 94th anniversary of the establishment of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (March 26, 1931 – March 26, 2025), on the morning of March 23, 2025, the Youth Union of Trưng Vương University organized the program “Spreading Love” at SOS Children’s Village.
The program witnessed the participation of a large number of faculty members, lecturers, and students from Trưng Vương University.
As part of the program, the delegation presented meaningful gifts to the children at SOS Children’s Village, including books, school supplies, clothing, toys, and essential necessities. All of these gifts were donated by the university’s faculty, staff, students, and generous benefactors.
In addition to the gift-giving, students from Trưng Vương University also organized various interactive and recreational activities with the children, such as group games and cultural performances. The vibrant performances, jointly staged by the students and the children, created a cheerful and heartwarming atmosphere.
Speaking at the event, Mr. Nguyễn Huy Hải, M.A., Deputy Secretary of the Youth Union of Trưng Vương University, shared:
“Through this activity, we hope to bring joy, care, and affection to children in difficult circumstances. At the same time, this is also an opportunity for our students to foster a spirit of solidarity and social responsibility—one of the core values that our university always aims to instill through holistic education.”
It is known that this is an annual activity of Trưng Vương University, part of a series of events celebrating Youth Month and the anniversary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union. This initiative not only reflects the university’s commitment to social responsibility but also helps educate students about compassion and the spirit of volunteering for the community.
