In the spirit of compassion and spreading humanitarian values to the community, Trung Vuong University has completed the transfer of 46,500,000 VND to the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front – Central Relief Committee to support residents in provinces heavily affected by recent natural disasters and flooding.
The floodwaters may recede, but the pain remains.
As the year draws to a close and many places prepare for the festive season, the central provinces—recently devastated by consecutive storms and floods—still bear the scars of destruction: land that has yet to dry, homes reduced to bare wooden frames, roads thick with mud, and the haunting eyes of people weighed down by despair after the disaster.
Elderly villagers sit silently in damp, damaged homes that, just weeks ago, were warm family shelters. Children huddle in thin clothing, asking their mothers when school will reopen. Men quietly sift through rubble, searching for anything salvageable after nature’s fury. And some families will never have the chance to rebuild—because the floodwaters took away their loved ones.
In the face of so much loss, even the smallest gesture of care becomes a source of immense emotional support.
“Flowers of Love”: A Choice Filled With Deep Meaning
Moved by the suffering of flood-affected communities, Trung Vuong University launched the “Thay hoa bằng yêu thương” (Flowers of Love) initiative during its 15th Anniversary Celebration and Vietnamese Teachers’ Day on November 20.
Instead of vibrant bouquets that last only a few days, the University encouraged guests to transform their goodwill into gifts that truly reach and uplift those struggling to rebuild their lives in the aftermath of disaster.
With this heartfelt intention, the program received contributions from 34 agencies, units, organizations, and individuals, amounting to 46,500,000 VND. The full amount has been transferred directly to the Vietnam Fatherland Front – Central Relief Committee to support affected families in overcoming the consequences of the floods.
In situations where losses extend far beyond physical damage, every contribution—no matter how small—carries profound meaning. It helps residents buy a packet of noodles, a warm jacket, or the first brick needed to rebuild a home… but more importantly, it assures them that the community is standing beside them, not leaving them behind.

Joining Hands for a Compassionate Community
Rector of Trung Vuong University, Dr. Nguyễn Huy Oanh, shared:
“We hope these gifts—though modest—will arrive at the right time, in the right place, and to the people who need them most. Every contribution is a bridge of compassion, a small spark of hope helping communities rise again after disaster.”

Spreading Humanity – Building a Sustainable Community
The generosity of contributing agencies, organizations, and individuals provides powerful encouragement, enabling the University to continue its mission of education tied to social responsibility, while nurturing a compassionate and sustainable community.
The support and companionship of institutions, businesses, and individuals represent the spread of civic responsibility—a message that:
“In the most difficult moments, the people of the flood-hit regions are not left behind.”
The “Flowers of Love” program not only created a meaningful highlight during the University’s 15th anniversary celebration but also inspired positivity, spreading the spirit of compassion among staff, lecturers, students, and the wider community.
