Scientific Seminar: “Innovative Entrepreneurship of Trung Vuong University Students in the Digital Era”

On the morning of December 26, 2025, Trung Vuong University organized a scientific seminar themed “Innovative Entrepreneurship of Trung Vuong University Students in the Digital Era.” The event took place in an open and academically rich atmosphere, attracting the attention of university leaders, lecturers, experts, business representatives, and a large number of students.

The seminar was held to create an academic forum for exchange and sharing of practical experiences, while also inspiring the spirit of entrepreneurship and innovation among students—the core force of high-quality human resources in the context of today’s digital transformation.

In his opening remarks, Dr. Nguyen Huy Oanh, Rector of Trung Vuong University, emphasized the important role of innovative entrepreneurship in the strategy for higher education development. He affirmed that the University always pays close attention to and creates favorable conditions for students to develop creative thinking, scientific research capacity, and the ability to apply technology in practice, thereby forming startup ideas that meet the demands of the digital era.


At the beginning of the seminar, Dr. Do Tien Thinh, Deputy Director of the National Innovation Center (NIC), shared an overview of Vietnam’s innovation ecosystem and provided important insights for students on accessing resources, technology, and current startup trends.

Continuing the program, Dr. Nguyen Huy Oanh, Rector of Trung Vuong University, presented a paper on the foundations for establishing and managing startup and innovation funds. He emphasized the role of both the University and students in building trust with investors, thereby reaffirming the University’s commitment to accompanying students in developing ideas and connecting startup resources.

The seminar also featured a presentation by Dr. Dinh Quang Toan, Director of the Institute of Innovation and Digital Economy at the University of Transport Technology, focusing on the role of innovation in higher education and opportunities for students to participate in the startup ecosystem. He proposed solutions to strengthen the linkage between training, research, and the practical needs of society.

In addition, Mr. Nguyen Tuan Anh, M.A., Vice Head of the Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy, presented a paper titled “Personal Positioning – The Key to Success in the 6D Startup Model.” He highlighted the importance of clearly identifying one’s competencies, core values, and personal development orientation in the process of building and implementing innovative startup models.

Notably, the presentation by student Le Duc Duong left a strong impression. From the perspective of his own learning and training experience at Trung Vuong University, Le Duc Duong shared students’ startup aspirations in the digital era, the advantages and challenges in forming ideas, and the desire to receive support and companionship from the University, lecturers, and businesses. His presentation not only demonstrated students’ proactiveness and creativity but also clearly reflected the central role of learners in the University’s innovative entrepreneurship ecosystem.

The seminar also recorded many professional opinions from scientists, lecturers, and business representatives, focusing on issues such as innovation in universities, models for supporting student startups, and the challenges and opportunities students face in turning startup ideas into reality in the digital age.

The discussion session was lively, with many candid questions and sharing from students, demonstrating their strong interest, eagerness to learn, and powerful entrepreneurial aspirations—hallmarks of the future contributors to the knowledge-based economy.

The scientific seminar “Innovative Entrepreneurship of Trung Vuong University Students in the Digital Era” concluded successfully, leaving many positive impressions and practical values. The event not only helped raise awareness and foster entrepreneurial thinking among students but also affirmed the University’s sound orientation in linking training, research, and innovation to meet the requirements of sustainable development in the era of digital transformation.
