On the morning of February 26, 2024, Trung Vuong University organized a spring trip to Hai Ba Trung Temple, located in Ha Loi Village, Me Linh Commune, Me Linh District, Hanoi.

The event was attended by Mr. Nguyen Duy Ninh, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors; Assoc. Prof. Phan Trong Phuc, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors; and Dr. Nguyen Huy Oanh, member of the Board of Directors and President of the University.

Historically, Trung Trac and Trung Nhi are famous heroic figures who led the uprising against foreign invaders during the early period of the nation. The name Trung Vuong University is derived from the names of the two sisters, Trung Trac and Trung Nhi, the first national heroines in Vietnam’s history of fighting against foreign invaders. This name emphasizes the combination of the outstanding merits of the two heroines and the tradition of the Vietnamese people – always striving to rise through perseverance, indomitable spirit, and strong solidarity to create a glorious history.

The spring trip is not only an annual activity of the university but also a reminder and expression of gratitude from the university leadership, faculty, and staff to Vinh Phuc – once the center of the Trung Dynasty and the location of the university’s main campus. This represents a subtle blend of history and modernity, tradition and development.

The spring trip to Hai Ba Trung Temple was not just an opportunity for the university community to meet and interact but also a chance for each individual to appreciate and value the cultural and historical significance of the country. This event has contributed to strengthening the solidarity and bonds among members of the Trung Vuong University community.
