Faculty of Nursing Launches “Ao Dai Week” at Trung Vuong University

March 3, 2025 – In celebration of International Women’s Day (March 8), Trung Vuong University has launched “Ao Dai Week”, a special cultural event honoring Vietnam’s traditional attire. The Faculty of Nursing proudly opened the week, with faculty members and staff elegantly dressed in blue, white, and red ao dai, creating a vibrant display of cultural pride and unity.

From the very first day, the Faculty of Nursing embraced the event with enthusiasm. Faculty members and staff arrived in their flowing ao dai, bringing a sense of elegance and tradition to the workplace while showcasing the grace and timeless beauty of Vietnamese women in this iconic garment.

Ms. Nguyen Thuy Lieu, a faculty member, shared her thoughts: “Wearing the ao dai gives me a deep sense of pride and confidence. It’s a meaningful way to honor our cultural heritage while celebrating the grace and beauty of Vietnamese women.”

Ao Dai Week at Trung Vuong University runs from March 3 to March 7, 2025, offering a series of meaningful and memorable experiences for faculty, staff, and students alike. With the theme “Ao Dai – A Symbol of Vietnamese Pride”, the event is more than just a tribute to International Women’s Day; it is a heartfelt celebration of tradition, inspiring a deeper love and appreciation for Vietnam’s timeless national dress.
