April 2, 2025 – Trưng Vương University has reached a major milestone in its development history by becoming the first and only private higher education institution in Northern Vietnam licensed by the Ministry of Education and Training to offer a master’s degree program in Educational Management.
This decision marks a significant milestone not only for Trưng Vương University but also for the private higher education sector in Northern Vietnam. Until now, postgraduate training in Educational Management has mainly been provided by long-established public universities.
Dr. Nguyễn Huy Oanh, Rector of Trưng Vương University, shared:

The master’s program in Educational Management at Trưng Vương University has been designed with input from leading experts in the field. It integrates essential knowledge and skills for leaders and managers in educational institutions. Notably, the program emphasizes the application of digital technology and innovation in educational management, aligning with the current trend of digital transformation in education.
With strengths in modern facilities, a highly qualified and experienced faculty, Trưng Vương University aims to train Educational Management master’s graduates who are capable of meeting the demands of fundamental and comprehensive educational reform.
This news has been well-received by the educational community, especially among managers and teachers in Northern Vietnam who previously had to travel long distances to attend similar programs offered by universities in Hanoi or other provinces.
