On November 17, 2024, Trung Vuong University hosted a grand celebration to mark the 42nd Vietnamese Teachers’ Day and officially commence the 2024-2025 academic year. This event was both a tribute to educators and a pivotal moment to embrace a promising new academic chapter.
The ceremony opened with a solemn flag-raising session, followed by a keynote speech from Dr. Nguyen Huy Oanh, President of Trung Vuong University. Dr. Oanh expressed heartfelt gratitude to the university’s faculty, staff, and educators, acknowledging their critical role in nurturing talent and advancing education. The session concluded with a ceremonial drumbeat, symbolizing the start of a new academic year brimming with opportunities and challenges.
Following Dr. Oanh’s address, Mr. Nguyen Duy Ninh, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors and representative of Ho Guom Group, delivered an inspiring speech. He emphasized the university’s investments in modern infrastructure, innovative academic programs, and dynamic extracurricular activities, all designed to foster a supportive and enriching learning environment. His optimistic vision instilled confidence in the university’s future.
The event also welcomed a special guest, Ms. Pham Thi Hong Thuy, Chairwoman of the Vinh Phuc Province Business Association, who congratulated Trung Vuong University on its achievements and extended her best wishes for continued success.
A highlight of the ceremony was the recognition of outstanding achievements from the 2023-2024 academic year. Mr. Trinh Minh Truong, Vice President of the university, announced awards for exceptional students, faculty, and departments, celebrating their hard work and dedication. These accolades served as an inspiration for the entire university community to reach new heights.
Another significant moment was the conferral of bachelor’s and master’s degrees to the graduating class. Mr. Nguyen Thanh Son, Head of the Academic Affairs Department, presented the degrees, marking a proud milestone for the graduates and their families.
