As part of the “Tour Design and Operation” course, students majoring in Tourism and Travel Services Management at Trưng Vương University participated in a series of extracurricular learning activities at two notable destinations: Gò Lào Waterfall (Mai Châu, Hòa Bình) and the Vietnam Scientists Heritage Park.
These field trips not only served as destination surveys but also provided an ideal hands-on learning environment, allowing students to “step into the profession” right from the classroom.

Opportunities for Students
Through these extracurricular lessons, students gained a deeper understanding of the full process of organizing a complete tour. They developed skills in teamwork, communication, creativity, and real-life problem-solving. These experiences also instilled a strong sense of professionalism at tourism sites and fostered stronger connections between students and instructors — contributing to a dynamic and inspiring learning environment.
