On March 12, 2025, K15 Multimedia Communication students from Trưng Vương University had a meaningful field trip to the Vietnam Press Museum. This activity aimed to provide students of the Faculty of Communication with a deeper understanding of the history and development of Vietnam’s revolutionary journalism.

In the museum’s rich exhibition space, students had the opportunity to witness valuable artifacts firsthand, from early journalism tools to iconic press publications throughout the country’s historical periods. Notably, they were able to explore Vietnam’s first newspapers and artifacts associated with the lives and careers of renowned journalists.

Phạm Thu Trang, a student from the K15 Multimedia Communication class, shared: “I was truly amazed by the richness of Vietnam’s journalism. Seeing the rudimentary tools used in the past made me appreciate even more the legacy built by previous generations. This trip has truly inspired me to pursue my future career in journalism.”

According to M.A. Trần Thị Thái Phan, a lecturer from the Faculty of Communication, this field trip is part of a series of extracurricular activities designed to enhance practical knowledge and nurture students’ passion for their profession. In the future, the university will continue to organize similar activities, providing students with opportunities to engage with professional environments and gain career orientation.
