K16 Freshmen of Trưng Vương University Begin Their First Day of Student Orientation Week

On the morning of September 4, 2025, Trưng Vương University officially opened the Student Orientation Week for the freshmen of Cohort 16. This activity marks the beginning of the new academic year, helping new students grasp essential information about the university’s development directions, academic regulations, and extracurricular activities.

Morning Session: Opening and Academic Orientation

Nguyễn Huy Oanh, Rector of the University, on behalf of the Board of Rectors, introduced the mission, traditions, and development goals of the university.

Nguyễn Duy Ninh, CEO of Ho Guom Group’s Service Division and Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees, warmly welcomed K16 freshmen and emphasized the aspiration to build a high-quality learning environment closely connected with social realities.

Phạm Như Nghệ, Vice Rector, and M.A. Nguyễn Thanh Sơn, Head of Training Department, shared about the university’s faculties and programs, explaining study modes, examination regulations, and the structure of final assessments. These are crucial guidelines to help students shape their academic pathways.

The Youth Union of Trưng Vương University introduced extracurricular activities, the Student Association, and various clubs. Union Secretary Trần Thị Thúy encouraged students to actively participate in extracurricular programs to practice skills, build friendships, and develop themselves comprehensively.

Afternoon Session: Continuing Guidance and Interaction

• The Board of Rectors and the Training Department continued to provide orientation and support information to help students plan their studies effectively.

• Students engaged in interactive sessions, exploring clubs, teams, and Youth Union–Association activities. This gave them opportunities to choose suitable environments to nurture their talents and interests.

A New Journey Begins

The first day of K16 Student Orientation Week took place in an energetic, open, and enthusiastic atmosphere. The insightful sharing from the Board of Rectors and university departments has provided strong motivation for freshmen to confidently embark on their academic and personal growth journey at Trưng Vương University.
