On May 31, 2024, Trung Vuong University visited and held a meeting with new Lao students who are completing their Vietnamese foundation course and preparing to embark on undergraduate and postgraduate programs at the university.

Representatives from Trung Vuong University expressed gratitude to the Board of Management of Vinh Phuc College of Economics and Technology, where the students have diligently studied Vietnamese for nearly a year. During the discussions, the new Lao students shared their aspirations and eagerness to pursue studies across various fields at Trung Vuong University.

Thirty-four students from Northern Lao provinces such as Huaphanh, Luang Prabang, Bokeo, and others confidently introduced themselves and expressed their excitement and gratitude for the gifts brought by Trung Vuong University representatives. The meeting not only showcased the university’s care and support but also provided a significant morale boost for the students as they prepare to transition into the university environment after completing their Vietnamese foundation course.

Mr. Trinh Minh Truong, the Vice President, emphasized, “Providing Vietnamese language training for Lao students is crucial preparation, equipping them with a solid language foundation to pursue further studies and research in Vietnam.”

The meeting also reaffirmed the commitment to cooperation in training human resources for Laos under the recent agreement between Trung Vuong University and a northern Lao province, thereby fostering stronger ties between Vietnam and Laos.
