On the morning of January 17, 2025, in the festive spirit of year-end celebrations, the Board of Management at Trung Vuong University hosted a special gathering to present Banh Chung—a traditional Tet gift—to students in celebration of the upcoming Lunar New Year, the Year of the Snake.
The event welcomed Dr. Nguyen Huy Oanh, President of the university; Dr. Pham Nhu Nghe, Vice President; Mr. Trinh Minh Truong, Vice President; along with a large number of faculty members, staff, and students.

In his address, Dr. Nguyen Huy Oanh shared: “Tet is a season of reunion and family. With these gifts, we hope to extend our heartfelt wishes for a peaceful and happy new year to all students. This occasion is also an opportunity for teachers and students to come together, share warm sentiments, and welcome a fresh start.”

Adding a special touch to the tradition, the Banh Chung gifted to students were handcrafted by their peers during the university’s “Loving Spring 2025” competition. This unique element highlighted the spirit of unity and support within the TVUNI community, making the gifts even more meaningful.
Speaking on behalf of the students, Nguyen Thuy Lan expressed her gratitude:
“We’re deeply touched to receive these Banh Chung from our teachers. More than just a Tet gift, they serve as a source of encouragement, filling us with energy and positivity as we head home to celebrate the new year and prepare for the upcoming semester.”

The presentation of Banh Chung as Tet gifts has become a cherished tradition at Trung Vuong University, reflecting the institution’s dedication to student well-being and its commitment to fostering a warm, supportive educational environment.
