On October 5, 2024, students from Trung Vuong University’s Information Technology, Banking-Finance, E-commerce, and Logistics and Supply Chain Management programs took part in a special extracurricular trip to the Thang Long Imperial Citadel. Held in celebration of Hanoi’s Liberation Day, this event offered students a unique opportunity to not only explore history but also experience the significance of a major milestone in the nation’s past.
The trip was far more than a simple sightseeing excursion—it was a journey into the cultural and historical heart of the capital. During their visit, students were introduced to key moments in Vietnam’s history, spanning the feudal dynasties to the nation’s fight for independence.
Faculty members accompanied the students, sharing valuable insights that enriched their understanding of both their academic fields and Vietnam’s rich cultural and historical heritage.
The event provided an educational experience that strengthened connections between students and faculty alike. Group activities throughout the day encouraged open communication and camaraderie among participants. From interactive games exploring the historical sites to team-building challenges, the program was filled with excitement and learning. These activities helped break the ice, fostering a sense of unity and friendship among the students.
Student Nhu Dinh Vu reflected, “Thanks to this event, I now have a deeper understanding of Hanoi’s history and had the chance to make new friends from my department. The fun moments we shared during the trip are truly unforgettable.”
The visit to Thang Long Imperial Citadel left a lasting impression on everyone involved. It provided TV-UNI students with not only historical knowledge but also the opportunity to strengthen bonds within the student community. Trung Vuong University believes the valuable experiences from this trip will serve as important milestones in the students’ academic and personal journeys.
