On September 27, 2024, K15 students from the Faculty of Tourism, led by their instructor Mr. Vu Xuan Hoa, embarked on a valuable field trip to Wondertour International Travel, located at 321 Truong Chinh Street, Hanoi. This visit was part of their practical learning activities designed to deepen their understanding of the tourism industry and the careers they are pursuing.
The students were warmly welcomed by Wondertour’s leadership team, including founder and General Director Mr. Le Cong Nang, co-founder and CEO Mr. Duong Huu Toan, and Chief Technology Officer Mr. Vu Ngoc Hai. Department heads from various divisions were also present to provide detailed insights into the company’s operations and the opportunities within the tourism sector.
In his opening remarks, Mr. Le Cong Nang shared the story of Wondertour’s founding and growth, highlighting the essential skills and qualities students need to succeed in the industry. The company’s directors and department heads engaged with the students, answering questions on a wide range of topics, from real-world work experiences to the latest travel trends.
A standout moment occurred when student Duong Dung, representing the group, asked about the challenges the tourism industry faces and how Wondertour has navigated these obstacles. The thoughtful responses from Wondertour’s leadership not only addressed these concerns but also provided students with a clearer vision of the career paths available to them.
This field trip offered the K15 Tourism students valuable insights into the professional work environment and gave them the chance to connect with experienced industry professionals. It marked a memorable milestone in their academic and personal development journey.
