Youth of Trung Vuong University Join the 2025 Reading Festival

In line with President Ho Chi Minh’s teaching that “Books are spiritual nourishment” and “Reading diligently and widely is a valuable habit,” this event has helped ignite a love for reading and foster a reading culture among students. Renowned Vietnamese scholars and writers such as Cao Bá Quát, Nguyễn Du, and Lê Quý Đôn have also emphasized the vital role of books in nurturing the human soul and intellect.

On the morning of April 21, 2025, Trung Vuong University hosted a book exhibition and reading event on campus, themed “Youth of Trung Vuong University Join the Reading Day.” The event attracted a large number of enthusiastic students and carried a meaningful atmosphere.

Taking place from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, the program featured a variety of engaging activities, including a display of thousands of books across various fields, discussions on the importance of reading in the digital age, and interactive sessions for sharing favorite books.

Students brought creative book-arranging displays to the event, focusing on the theme of April 30 – the Liberation of Southern Vietnam, and the shape of the Vietnamese homeland. These works not only showcased unique book-stacking techniques but also evoked the iconic S-shaped image of Vietnam and the nation’s significant historical milestones.

Ms. Trần Thị Thủy, Secretary of the Youth Union of Trung Vuong University, shared:
“This activity is not only a response to Vietnam Book Day but also an opportunity to rekindle the love of reading and develop a reading culture among students—especially in the rapidly growing digital era.”

First-year Multimedia Communications student Yến Nhi expressed:
“I was very impressed with today’s reading space. I not only found great books but also had the chance to interact and exchange ideas with fellow book lovers.”

This event is part of a series of reading culture activities organized by the Youth Union of Trung Vuong University, contributing to a positive learning environment and the development of a reading culture among students.
