Korean Language Students Experience Hanbok – The Traditional Costume of Korea -

To enhance the effectiveness of the Korean Culture course and provide students with immersive learning experiences, on May 20, 2025, students from the Korean Language Department at Trưng Vương University participated in a special class led by Korean lecturer Ms. Kwon Jung Min.

In an atmosphere of excitement and creativity, the students explored Hanbok – the traditional attire that carries deep cultural significance for the Korean people. Beyond theoretical lessons, students had the opportunity to design, cut, fold, and try on Hanbok themselves, gaining a deeper understanding and appreciation for the spirit and beauty of Korean heritage.

This class brought about many positive emotions and strong motivation for the students. With the learning by experience approach, the Korean Language Department is committed to bringing students closer to the real culture, people, and lifestyle of Korea. This is a key part of Trưng Vương University’s comprehensive, internationally-oriented training strategy.
