Seminar for Universities in Vietnam and Taiwan

On October 17, 2022, Trung Vuong University, in collaboration with universities from the Vietnam Association of Universities and Colleges, hosted a seminar featuring a delegation from 15 leading technology universities in Taiwan. The event was held at Meeting Room 101, located on the first floor of the Knowledge Center in Hanoi.

The seminar aimed to foster partnerships between educational institutions in Vietnam and top technology universities in Taiwan. These partnerships are intended to establish advanced training programs originating from Taiwan and to facilitate connections with businesses, particularly addressing the needs of Taiwanese high-tech companies investing in Vietnam. Moreover, the initiative includes providing scholarships for Vietnamese lecturers participating in cooperative training programs with Taiwanese universities. This effort aims to enhance the quality of teaching staff, enabling them to implement joint training initiatives and incorporate advanced Taiwanese curriculum, thus meeting the demands of Taiwanese and international firms operating in Vietnam.

During the seminar, participants formalized their commitments by signing a Memorandum of Understanding. This document serves as a cornerstone for developing collaborative programs between Vietnamese and Taiwanese universities.

The seminar is expected to catalyze substantial advancements in education and training programs focused on technology within Vietnamese universities and colleges, including Trung Vuong University. By aligning with contemporary trends, these efforts aim to cultivate high-caliber human resources capable of meeting current societal needs.
